During Power Camp 2013, campers will try different non-traditional sports. According to the foundation, each day of the camp "will include hard-core training with accomplished athletes from high school up to the pro level."

Power Camp runs June 10-14, June 17-21 and June 24-28.

To register as a camper and obtain a camp scholarship, please contact LaShea Davis, 864-517-7979, ldavis@fca.org.

Also, through the Chick-fil-A Foundation, the WinShape Foundation and other local organizations, the free WinShape Camps for Communities will be held at Kennedy Middle School, 225 James P. Brawley Dr.

The camp will include sports, arts, worship, Bible study, recreation, drama and music and is for more than 300 children ages 7-12. It runs June 3-7

Winshape Camps do not list Kennedy as one of their locations, so you can't get anymore information except that it costs $189 for all other locations of Winshape Camps for Communities.
