Southwest Atlantans Shine in Trumpet Awards High Tea With Heels

Southwest Atlanta was well-represented in Thursday's Trumpet Awards High Tea With Heels at the Hyatt salutes.

The list of honorees who either live in greater southwest Atlanta or who were raised here included Lisa Borders, President of The Grady Foundation; Andrea Young, Executive Director of the Young Foundation; Yolanda Grier Creecy, The Olivet Church; Photojournalist Susan Ross, of The Photo Griot; and Tracye Bryant, Communications Director of The Red Cross.

High Tea with High Heels at the Hyatt spotlights women who have made their mark in various fields. Each woman has broken a barrier in her area of expertise.

The event raises money for a student scholarship program to support youth and education.
