The Atlanta BeltLine Hosts FREE Mountian Bike Classes at Washington Park, 11/9

The Atlanta BeltLine Partnership and REI are partnering to provide fun, FREE activities to get Atlantans out and moving on the Atlanta BeltLine.  10 a.m -12 p.m. at Washington Park.

Join REI’s cycling instructors for a brief introduction to the world of mountain biking! We’ll cover basic information about mountain bike equipment, technique, and safety. Participants will have the opportunity to try some of the skills we discuss. You’ll learn about different types of mountain bikes, body positioning, how to avoid or get over obstacles, and throughout the class, safety. Afterward we’ll give participants the opportunity to try mountain biking on an unpaved portion of the Atlanta Beltline.
