Will the Real KING Please Stand Up?

Dr. King spirit still lives on and it needs to reawaken in our communities. Because we are not in the promise land yet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqh3uWYCfEY

When is Dr. King’s birthday? What street was Dr. King born on? How old was he attended and where did he attend college? Name one other speech other than I have a dream? Name one book Dr. King wrote.

If you are reading this and you are not able to answer one question than there is a problem. We have be spoon fed our history for too long and it is time for us to study and write. Many people only know what America wants them to know about the key leaders. Instead of choosing the political (militant) side of Dr. King we hear about the kowtowing spirit!

When I was in school they talked about Dr. King and his dream every year. It to me became a nightmare, because his practice of non-violence in a cold world was insane! It was not until I ran across one speech that he addressed to a middle school six months before his death. What is Your Life’s Blueprint? There was no other way for them to make the major changes they made without militant non-violence! I would challenge you to read more about Dr. King and maybe your outlooks will change.

As I write this, I am listening to the "Mountain Top" speech, and I'm actually surprised it wasn't named "Promised Land", because he called African-Americans to rise up and unite their financial resources in demanding justice. He said put your money in Black banks, don't buy Coke, buy something else besides Wonderbread. He also said the Pharoah rules best when slaves are divided, that a man can't ride your back is it isn't bent. He term, "majestic struggle" resonated with me. Militant Nonviolence needs to be coined.
