Adamsville is part of the Atlanta Public Schools and serves grades Pre-K through 5th grade. The school's 2010-2011 theme is "Excellence is Here." An Adamsville teacher recently received the Laura Bush Foundation's American Libraries award. The school will receive reading materials to encourage reading. Adamsville offers several research-based programs including specialized instruction in science and social studies for grades three to five and single-gender homerooms for the fifth grade. The Adamsville main goal is to have all of its students meet or exceed CRCT testing standards in every subject.
