Peyton Forest has educated countless students in the Cascade Heights area since it opened in 1968. More than 40 years later, the school has undergone a partial renovation, which expanded the technology lab and some classrooms. 

A mix of new and veteran teachers runs a mandatory Wednesday tutorial for all students, regardless of grade-level performance. Those excelling are encouraged to work even harder, and those needing extra help are given the tools to improve. Many of the teachers are still pursuing advanced degrees and certifications to even better help students excel.
