At Patch, we don’t take shortcuts. That’s why we hire professional
editors and contributors in each of our towns and personally visit
every business in our Directory at least once a year.
Despite our best efforts, sometimes a personal visit is not possible
— a business might be run out of a home or the owner may be too busy.
In this case, we list the business on Patch with as much information as
we have. And because we believe in full disclosure, we include our
verification disclaimer.
We are always looking for feedback on our listings and the verification
process, so if you see incorrect information or have an opinion, please
send us your thoughts. If you are the owner or manager of a business or
organization, you can claim a listing and help determine what
information is displayed on Patch.
I went there for an emergency tooth removal. The tooth broke off as my dentist was pulling it so they called Southwest Maxillofacial Surgery & Implants to see if they could do an emergency extraction. My appointment was set. I went straight from my dentist, mouth bleeding, still under Novocaine. 2 hours after my appointment time, I was called back. After scolding me about how to hold the gauze in my mouth, the doctor proceeded to ask me questions and when I stopped speaking to wipe the drool, he reminded me that if I held my mouth right that I would not have that problem. Did he forget he was asking me questions? After he had me in the chair I was given another shot of Novocaine. He started cutting. I could feel it! I raised my hand but he kept on and then grabbed an arm and managed to make some sounds and point to my mouth. He scolded me again by saying, "Under no circumstances should I ever grab someone." Well excuse me but if I was able to speak through the dental dam holding my mouth open, I would have politely said, "Excuse me, I can feel that scalpel cutting my gums!" Going to the dentist makes me nervous. My experience was horrible. I will not go back. nor, do i recommend this chop shop to anyone. Patients should not feel like they have interrupted someone's lunch or whatever.
