The historic St. John Baptist Church is a "traditional Baptist church," with a congregation that still sings "the old hymns," says the church's senior pastor, Reverend Jeff Davis.Established in 1883, the church is still in the same area where it got its start. The original building was on the same land, in a different part of the property.
