Community Church of God purchased the former Salvation Army Thrift Store adjacent to the property and renamed the building Volunteers in Community and Related Services (VICARS). VICARS serves as the site for weekly forums for the Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta, Inc. (CBC).

Rev. Michael A. Smith is senior pastor of the church, which is located at 850 Cascade Road.
