Arnika Dawkins Gallery, located at 4600 Cascade Rd SW, will be hosting an exciting opening reception featuring two solo exhibitions of work by New Yorker Builder Levy and Los Angeles based photographer, Aline Smithson, respectively. The event is scheduled for Friday, April 26th from 6pm-8pm. About Builder Levy Native New Yorker Builder Levy has been photographing America and her inhabitants for the past 50 years. His social awareness took him to areas of our country during tumultuous times. Seemingly Levy was everywhere; his commitment to documenting the world around him earned him the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship in 2008. The Gordon Parks Exhibit at Arnika Dawkins Gallery has been extended.
According to Arnika Dawkins, the wonderful Gordon Parks exhibition, The Segregation Story, has been extended so that more people have a chance to see this rare and beautiful photography collection. Thank you for posting the details about the Gordon Parks Exhibition currently on view at Arnika Dawkins Gallery! The images have resonated well with the community and we have decided to extend its run until March 29! In celebration of Gordon Parks 100th birthday, Arnika Gallery is presenting an exclusive look at his photography.
A new, exclusive exhibition entitled Gordon Parks: A Segregation Story opens November 30th at the Arnika Dawkins Gallery located at 4600 Cascade Road. The local world-class gallery is collaborating with The Gordon Parks Foundation and Jackson Fine Art to present the fabulous portfolio of Mr. Parks' recently discovered work. This comes at a time of the year that Gordon Parks would be turning 100 years old. They will commemorate Mr. Park's centennial birthday on November 30th with an opening reception at Jackson Fine Art.
