US News and World Report's Best High Schools of America
Where do our local high schools rank?
Georgia has a number of high schools that nationally ranked on US News & World Report's list of Best High Schools, including Grady and Cross Keys High School. The number of high performing schools, according to this list, in the South Atlanta neighborhoods falls drastically. Mays and Washington High get little more than a honorable mention. One of our schools that does stand out, are the programs at Carver High School. Though unranked, their scores in Math and English are far above Georgia's average.
