Free SW Atlanta Home Tours and Down-Payment Assistance

This Saturday come learn and partake in a number of free home tours and free information on receiving down payment assistance.

If you are in the market for a new home, but worried about the down payment, you should make a point to join the Committed to Communities Home Tour on Saturday, March 30th. First time and potential homebuyers who qualify and do not currently have a home in their name can receive down-payment assistance from the City of Atlanta to purchase a home anywhere in the Atlanta city limits. 'Committed to Communities' Open House Features Beautiful Homes and Downpayment Assistance

Potential home-buyers are invited to participate in the “Committed to Communities” open house on Saturday, January 12.

  Potential homebuyers are invited to participate in the “Committed to Communities” open house on Saturday, January 12, to visit the homes in historic communities and to help boost homeownership in Southwest Atlanta.  The free, family-friendly event will feature homes in the West End, West View, Oakland City, Ashview Heights, Beecher Hills, Adair Park and Capitol View, which are all primarily in the 30310 zip code. As we all know, this area was once home to high rates of foreclosure and mortgage fraud, but is beginning to rebound as savvy buyers discover our historic area close to downtown and along the popular Atlanta Beltline.
