CourtWatch Invites You to be the Eyes and Ears of the Community in Court

Citizens are invited to join CourtWatch and help clean-up our community.

NPU-I citizens and any residents of Atlanta were invited to join CourtWatch as they attend real-life court cases, in hopes of showing the judges that the SW Atlanta community is represented and does not condone, nor turn a blind eye to the crimes perpetrated by offenders in our neighborhoods. One of the biggest concerns are that repeat offenders continue to get put back on the street within our communities, and to counter that, CourtWatch attempts to make the communities presence seen and felt so that the judges knows that these crimes affect PEOPLE. Make sure to research CourtWatch, if you would like to attend one of the upcoming Monday morning sessions.  There may be cases that you are more interested in than others, so it is a good idea…

Your support is needed to help Convict a Neighborhood Menace

Come to the 1 p.m. CourtWatch today, June 11th.

UPDATE: Defendant Oderrick Boone given Life plus 15 years today by a Fulton County Judge.  He will be up for parole in 45 years. Dear Community, Please add the below information to your schedule. We must attend this sentencing. It is not enough for the few members of our community to speak on our behalf, nor is it enough to have our Community Prosecutors carry the burden of defending our communities against repeat offenders on their own. Our presence, concern and outrage must be made known. Being a  “good investment neighborhood”, or a “historic community that feature home tours”, are not our goals!  PUBLIC SAFETY is key! Without it- all of this is in vain…. forget the Beltline, forget economic development, forget the housing stock… …
