Derrick Boazman's successful reading program continues Friday December 7th at Bethune Elementary school.  The program brings in volunteer males to local elementary schools and has them read to the class, showing students that reading and learning is important and vital. Join Derrick Boazman of Too Much Truth For “Real Men Read” on Friday, December 7th, 2012 at Bethune Elementary School. The Address is 220 Northside Dr NW Atlanta, GA 30314 The program starts at 10am. Derrick Boazman of 1380 WAOK will be the Key Speaker at Greater Mountain Baptist's Men’s Day Celebration

Greater Mountain Baptist Church announces that the Hon. Derrick Boazman, community activist, former Atlanta City Councilmember, and the host of 1380 WAOK's "Too Much Truth," will be the speaker for their Men’s Day morning service on this coming Sunday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Herschel Thornton Mortuary located a 3346 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Popular WAOK 1380-AM radio personality and former Atlanta City Councilman Derrick Boazman has changed the date of the next meeting with volunteers and concerned citizens to continue organizing a Saturday school program for Atlanta Public Schools students affected by the recent cheating scandal. The meeting is now set for 10 a.m. Sat., Aug. 6, at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 1558 Venetian Dr. A state investigators' report found evidence of 44 Atlanta Public Schools of cheating on the 2009 Criterion Reference Competency Test (CRCT) standardized test. In early July, Gov. Nathan Deal officially issued the report, which implicated 178 educators—including 38 principals— in the system in the scandal. To help restore dignity and pride in …

Taking his “I am APS” campaign to the next level, WAOK 1380-AM radio personality and former Atlanta City Councilman Derrick Boazman is leading a campaign to start a Saturday school program for Atlanta Public School students affect by the system's cheating scandal.  A state investigators' report found evidence of 44 Atlanta Public Schools of cheating on the 2009 Criterion Reference Competency Test (CRCT) standardized test.
