Landon's Closed For Now, But Will Reopen as Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles

After 6 years of serving the community, Landon's has shut its doors and will reopen as Gladys'.

You may have already noticed or heard the news that Landon's Restaurant and Bar has closed its doors and will no longer serve the community under that name.  That is right, the restaurant is not gone for good, but rather reopening as a Gladys Knight's Chicken and Waffles. The longtime owners and management at Landon's released a statement: We are extremely grateful for the loyal patronage that our customers and the community have demonstrated for Landon's over the past 6 years. We cannot thank you enough for your business and, more importantly, advocacy toward our success. Landon's Offers Cascade's Best Patio Dining

The popular eatery wins this week's Reader's Choice contest.

Springtime began this week, and as Cascade residents begin heading outside to  enjoy the season, they chose Landon's Restaurant & Bar as offering the best patio dining experience. Located near the intersection of Cascade Road and I-285, one repeat customer said, "There is no better food south of I-20!" Another Reader's Choice contest begins on Monday, March 26, at 5:00 am.

Acclaimed composer Norman Connors of "You Are My Starship" and "Valentine Love" fame to perform two shows honoring legendary Tony Award-nominated talent Phyllis Hyman this Saturday with Cascade songstress Jennifer Freeman at Landon's Restaurant and Bar, 3752 Cascade Rd.
