One person is dead and three others are injured after a shooting that happened late Monday afternoon. The shooting took place in unit K-5 at the Apple Tree Apartments. Located at 2328 Campbellton Road, the complex is near the Andrew & Walter Young YMCA, which is where the monthly meeting of NPU-R is set for Wednesday night. "When officers arrived on the scene they found one male shot multiple times," said Officer Kim Jones, a spokesperson for Atlanta police. "He was transported to Grady Hospital where he later died."
