A gunman is on the run from police who robbed the CVS Pharmacy (2429 Martin Luther King Drive) during the overnight hours on Tuesday morning. According to CBS reports, "employees were preparing to close the store when the robber entered through the front doors. He gathered them together and robbed all three." The Atlanta Police department told Cascade Patch that in addition to robbing the actual employees, the gunman took a significant amount of cash from the registers before fleeing. On 02/13/2013, two suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint at 1960 Perkerson Road SW
Atlanta Police Investigators have released a photo of a key suspect in an armed robbery that netted $20,000. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible. According to APD officers, "on 02/13/2013 at 12:20 PM, two suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint at 1960 Perkerson Road SW." The department has said that the victim works for some sort of ATM delivery service and "picks-up and delivers money for ATM machines." The suspects stole the victim’s black Nissan Quest which was later recovered 2893 Lakewood Ave., and a total of $20,000.00 in cash. The Atlanta Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two men who robbed the Eden's Beauty Supply store at 122 Cleveland Ave. in the Swallow Circle-Baywood community. The Oct. 30 incident was captured on store surveillance cameras and investigators are asking for help in identifying the men seen on video. Anyone with information on these suspects is asked to call the Atlanta Police Commercial Robbery Unit at 404.546.4255 or Crime Stoppers at 404.577.8477. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.

Police are looking for the owners of stolen property in the Mozeley Park area.
The Atlanta Police department found a treasure full of stolen property at the house of 63 year-old Beverly Barnes, who was arrested for "theft by taking and maintaining a disorderly house." Over the past few months residents around the Mozeley Park area have been complaining about break-ins that result in stolen electronics and stolen appliances. "Over a couple of months' time, we believe there were 10 to 20 burglaries in the area that are possibly linked to [Barnes'] home," Atlanta Police Lt. Jeff Baxter said.
