Ahead of releasing his 8th album, Clifford "T.I. Harris, shows that what is really important to him is giving back to the community from which he is from.
T.I. and his wife Tiny launched his Give Like a King Foundation on December 14th from the Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO) on Westlake Avenue, just seconds away from where T.I. grew up. "Veterans should never be without the foundational needs of a human being," said T.I. as he announced his support of homeless veterans. With T.I.'s support and gifts of kindness, the VEO is housing 60 homeless veterans that were found on the streets of Atlanta. The founder of the Georgia VEO, Frantz Fortune, thanked T.I. and his family for their generosity and their time. Fortune said, by people in Atlanta just coming here to our location and to hangout with these Vets, "does wonders for these guys." Photos from the T.I. event.

T.I. launched the Give Like a King Campaign today from the VEO on Westlake Ave. in support of Atlanta's homeless veterans.
Clifford "T.I." Harris, who is a native of Atlanta was in shadows of his old neighborhood Friday afternoon to proudly launch his new foundation and to announce his support for homeless veterans in Atlanta and the VEO, located on West Lake Ave. "No veterans, anywhere should have to go without the basic necessities of shelter, food, toiletries. They have already paid for that," T.I. told the crowd as he spoke on Friday. T.I. went on to say that is is only because he has been blessed with more than most, that he feels he should give more than most and that is why he is helping to house homeless heroes. Clifford "T.I." Harris and the Veterans Empowerment Organization have teamed up for a public service and information campaign addressing the urgent need to help facilitate and increase housing and supportive services for homeless veterans.
On Friday, December 14th, local veterans who have been down on their luck and have found themselves to be homeless in the country they have served, will receive some major support in their corner. Mega superstar and SW Atlanta native, Clifford "T.I." Harris will announce a new partnership between his charity, Give Like a King and the Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia (VEO). T.I. who is known for his chart-topping rap music and his hit TV show on VH1, has always tried to give back to the community and to those less fortunate. Homeless Veterans get support with a new facility on Westlake Avenue.
Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO), committed to providing housing and support services to homeless veterans, announces the Grand Opening of the VEO Village during a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the new VEO Campus, Friday, September 7, 2012, from 10am-2pm, at 373 West Lake Avenue NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30318. VEO Village offers transitional, supportive housing intended to provide homeless veterans the tools to achieve self-sufficiency and also encourage rehabilitation and reintegration into the community.
