Police Want Public's Help in Identifying the Walgreen's Robbery Suspect

Surveillance cameras captured photos of the robbery suspect.

The Atlanta Police Department and Crimestoppers are in need of the public's assistance in identifying the suspect in the Walgreens robbery, located at 3800 Princeton Lakes Pkwy near Camp Creek. On Feb. 4, 2013 at 4:28 am Zone 4 units were dispatched to Walgreens to investigate a robbery call.  The cashier told officers that a man, "came into the store and shopped normally." The cashier rang him up and told him his total, when the suspect then produced a handgun and said, "give me the money. According to police, the cashier said that, "he gave him all he had in the register which was about $400."  The suspect then fled the store with the items he brought to the register and the $400. Walgreens on Princeton Parkway Robbed Monday Morning

Police search for the suspect in an early morning store robbery.

The Atlanta Police Department continues to search the Camp Creek area for the suspect involved in an early morning robbery at the Walgreens on Princeton Parkway. The store located off of Camp Creek near the Marketplace, had surveillance cameras but footage has not yet been released by APD. According to Atlanta Police Public Affairs Officer Kim Jones, a man went to the cashier, asked for cigarettes, and as they turned around to retrieve the items, the robber pulled a gun and demanded cash.  The thief is reported as taking roughly $500. The perpetrator is said to be in his mid-twenties. Cascade Patch is waiting for more of a description of the suspect from police.
