Video: Asst. DA Briefs NPU-T about Mays Teacher being Burglarized and Bizarre Arrest
A bizarre end to a long story of burglary against a Mays High teacher.
Zone 4 Assistant District Attorney, JaDawnya Butler shared with the members of the NPU-T community a burglary story that finally ended in an arrest and conviction. A Mays High School teacher, who is on dialysis 3 times a week and takes care of her elderly mother, was constantly being burglarized and there were no clues left behind to tell the authorities who was committing the crimes. The woman got proactive, and purchased an alarm and finally Zone 4 was able to catch the man in the act. According to the ADA he had a grocery cart outside of a window in which he could quickly transport items.
