Clark Atlanta University held is 19th Annual Jazz Under the Stars event on Saturday. Guests enjoyed both the views of the Supermoon and the legendary jazz artist Rachele Ferrell!
(photos by Chanda Scott) The Clark Atlanta University Guild celebrated its 19th Annual Jazz Under the Stars (JUTS) and Live/Silent Auction on Saturday, May 5, at Clark Atlanta University’s Harkness Hall Quadrangle. This year’s featured artist, Rachelle Ferrell, brings an incredible “six-and-change” octave range, enchantingly intricate vocal styling and a soulfulness that is as powerful as the ocean and flows as smoothly as a gentle wave. Each year, the proceeds from JUTS help fund much-needed scholarships for CAU students in the performing arts. By supporting this event, which includes live and silent auctions, you enable deserving students to hone their crafts and earn a college education. We like to call it the art of success! - CAU …
