Cascade Resident, Sharmen Gowens named Interim CEO of YWCA of Greater Atlanta
The YWCA announced that it has appointed Sharmen Gowens as its interim CEO.
Cascade resident, Sharmen Gowens is to become the YWCA of Greater Atlanta's new interim CEO effective August 23rd. Gowens replaces former CEO Justine Boyd who is also a Cascade resident, but chose to accept an opportunity with another Atlanta non-profit. Prior to accepting this role, Gowens was the community relations manager for lifestyle marketing agency Liquid Soul Media where she worked closely with nationwide community leaders to engage them in community-related projects. “Sharmen is a seasoned professional with more than 33 years of business and community expertise.
