Oderrick Boone Gets Life for Murder of Popular Southwest Store Owner
Oderrick Boone was sentenced to Life plus 15 years for murder of popular market owner Baik Sung.
Monday afternoon, a Fulton County Judge sentenced Oderrick Boone to Life in Prison plus 15 years for the 2010 murder of Baik Sung in Southwest Atlanta. The sentencing carries a mandatory 45 years served, with the defendant becoming eligible for parole after then. This case was brought to the attention of many due to the hard work of CourtWatch and NPU-T, who both attempted to keep the community informed and educated regarding the horrific murder. Boone, was caught on surveillance camera robbing and stabbing Baik Sung multiple times at Sung's store, Southern Supermarket located on West View Drive in Southwest Atlanta. Sadly for the Sung family the verdict does little to take the pain of losing a loved one,but it does provide closure and most of all justice in the entire community.The mandatory 45 should act as a detterant for those who would venture into a life of crime and other nefarious acts against humanity.
