ReplyCode Enforcement needs an overhaul!!! Atlanta/Fulton Co. collect property taxes from absentee landlords without enforcing code violations. Vacant Property registration regulation is too little to late! It took 7+ years to demolish #50 Joseph E. Lowery Blvd. SW...Vacant lots are overgrown! Public Works budget is reduced! Move some of the Atlanta City employees off their duffs to new positions in Public Works!

ReplyEmploying contracted workers is not the solution for APS. For a local educational agency to cut the lower salaried full-time worker borders on criminal. APS just wants to avoid paying benefits!!! Reducing the central office staff is the option!

ReplyI've played league tennis at both centers since 1978; let's support these "little known jewels" in the heart of our city. Tennis is the sport of a lifetime and these four men have taken up the gauntlet to engage our youth in healthy activities that are lessons for life.
