Movies in the Park is finally back again and right here in our neighborhood!

Enjoy the life of legendary baseball great Jackie Robinson on the big screen at John A. White Park during Movies in the Park, a family event sponsored this Saturday, August 17 by Atlanta City Councilmember Keisha Lance and the Department of Parks and Recreation.

“This is the second movie that we have done in John A. White Park this summer, and I trust that the community will once again enjoy this fun filled family event,” Councilmember Bottoms said.  “This is a great opportunity for us to come together as a community, in the name of fun and entertainment, and to remind ourselves and our children of the tremendous sacrifices made in the name of equality”.

Show time is at 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to this free event. Please bring your own chairs and blankets.  Picnic baskets are also welcomed.
