Fire Station 25 is Back Open and Serving the Community

Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran and the staff of Atlanta Fire Rescue gathered on Wednesday to welcome the crew of Fire Station 25 back to their home along Benjamin Mays Drive.

The station, at 2349 Benjamin E. Mays Drive SW, has been closed in May after rain damaged the facility’s electrical system. Repairs and renovation included installation of a new electrical system, new flooring, new lighting and interior painting.

Councilmember CT Martin was on hand with Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran to welcome the crew members.  Community members are welcome to stop by their community fire station and see the improvements, as well as make furniture and appliance donations if they like.
