Atlanta Heights Charter Students Get Creative and Say No to Drugs- Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated 10-28 - 11/1

Atlanta Heights Charter School (AHCS) students are saying no to drugs as they celebrate Red Ribbon Week beginning Monday, October 28. Each day will have its own theme as students help to promote anti-drugs messages.

On Monday students will wear red shirts and ribbons to kick-off the week, Tuesday they will “tackle drugs” and wear their favorite football jersey. Wednesday AHCS students will “give drugs the boot” and “shade out drugs” as they come to school in boots and their favorite pair of sunglasses and on Thursday it’s time to “sock it drugs” and wear crazy socks.

The week concludes with students spreading the message “our future is too bright for drugs,” as they dress up as a future career.  Students will have to wear signs that state what type of degree they must obtain to fulfill their career choice.

THe great thing about Red Ribbon Week is that it focuses on promoting a drug-free lifestyle to students around the community and the country.
